Areas of Research Interest of faculty:
Mutation breeding of oil crops Molecular Taxonomy & Phylogeny;  Medicinal & Economically important plant identification on molecular (DNA sequences) basis Tissue culture  completed project: Use of ITS nr DNA sequencing technique as a diagnostic tool for authentic identification of medicinal plants in collaboration with Botany dept.
